If you are a bookie that is taking action on sports, then you know that the heaviest volume betting occurs during the NFL season. The NFL season however only occupies 5 months out of the year for bettors, and some gamblers only prefer to bet football instead of all of the other sports such as basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf and more.

However over the years after the NFL season has ended, there has been various other football leagues that have been created to help fuel the passion of football fans and bettors, but nothing has really stuck so far in the public’s mind.

The latest new football league to try their hand at giving a replacement to the NFL once the NFL season is over is the XFL. The XFL is a professional American Football league owned by Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment, which is the successor to the original XFL, which was controlled by the World Wrestling Federation and NBC, and ran for just a single season in 2001.

However now it is back with a total of 8 teams, which will play a total of 10 games over the course of 10 weeks, and so far it has been a lot more popular than originally expected. For starters there are two games on Saturday and Sunday and they are available to watch on major television stations such as FOX, ABC, and ESPN. This has really helped to increase interest in this XFL league, which may have a chance to actually stick around for more than one season.

In addition for sports gamblers, there has also been a huge interest in placing bets on these games. But the problem is not every sportsbook or pay per head solutions software is offering a full range of betting options. So if you are interested in booking action on XFL and keeping your current football gamblers engaged even though the NFL season is completed, it is important to have a pay per head site that can offer players a full range of betting options.

One of the few pay per head bookie companies in the market that has been and will be offering a comprehensive list of betting options for the XFL is www.AcePerHead.com. For the first week of the season they had betting options for all games, halves, and team totals. Then for the second week of the XFL season, Ace Per Head also added the always popular live betting option for all XFL games, where players can bet on an updated live line while the game is in progress.

Even though the XFL has only completed 2 weeks of the season, Ace Per Head internally has seen an impressive amount of volume on bets which has increased from the 1st week to the 2nd week at almost double. In addition the volume of betting for an XFL game, has already surpassed the typical betting volume of a MLB game, and is getting close to surpassing the volume on a typical NBA game.

With that being said, for anyone that is taking action, the XFL has been a huge boost to overall betting volumes that typically in the past decrease due to the end of the NFL season. This has been a great option for bookies to offer their players, which has led to higher overall profits compared to past February’s with other football leagues that have come and gone over the years. So these are all good signs that this League may have the chance to continue into the future, and will also continue to be a nice boost for online independent bookies that are taking action on the games.
