Will the 2019 Haskell Stakes Be Postponed Due to Heat?
PETA was working hard to have the popular Haskell Invitational Stakes postponed Saturday due to excessive heat. You will need to review rules for postponed horse races here.

All of Saturday's Saratoga races for Saturday were cancelled late Thursday due to an excessive heat warning. Temperatures will reach the mid-90's Saturday afternoon, but feel much higher.
Heat Index Values...Up to 105 today and up to 110 Saturday.
The heat at Monmouth Park Saturday will be even worse.
* HEAT INDEX VALUES...101 to 106 this afternoon, and 105 to 110
on Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Values will be a bit
lower in the elevated terrain of the Poconos and far northern
New Jersey.
