Who Won the Democratic Presidential Debate in Vegas?The Democratic Presidential debate started the way we anticipated: Barack Obama and John Edwards ganged up on Hillary Clinton and Clinton attacked back. But the other candidates quickly set the tone and pointed out that voters were not interested in Clinton vs. Obama, with Edwards jumping in for good measure.
Moderator Wolfe Blitzer did an admirable job of ensuring each candidate had equal air time.
Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton fired back at her rivals for "throwing mud" on Thursday in a contentious debate.
The sharp opening exchanges were criticized by New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden, who slammed the continued Democratic assaults on each other.
"Let's stop this mud-slinging," Richardson said.
Clinton leads in both the polls and within the odds where she is a 1-3 favorite to win the 2008 US Presidency.
It took another hour until a question was asked of Clinton regarding the "gender card".
This offered Hillary Clinton an opportunity to provide the best line of the night.
"They are not attacking me because I'm a woman, they are attacking me because I'm ahead".
Hillary followed this by expressing how great it is to have a Latino and African American also running in this campaign.
Dennis Kucinich went on the war path regarding impeachment of both Dick Cheney and George Bush.
In the end it was Hillary Clinton who came off solid. Joe Biden also looked strong.
