Beginning the week of July 15, 2019, you will be able to play real money roulette from the state of Pennsylvania with casinos operating mobile sites from within the state.  Up until now, the only live dealer online casinos and roulette games available to PA residents was via offshore websites, though these are still likely to have the upper hand as the Pennsylvania in-state operators will not be offering their casino platforms on iPhones at the moment.

Playing Online Roulette for Real Money

Playing Roulette online can often result in higher payouts than playing in an actual brick and mortar casino.

The game is one in which a ball is dropped onto a revolving wheel ( roulette wheel ) with numbered compartments, the players betting on the number at which the ball will come to rest.

American Roulette Tips

If you do insist on the playing the American Roulette variant, here are some important tips to follow.

Only deposit at online casinos that are licensed and regulated by respectable gaming bodies.

Opt for low betting limits until you become comfortable with the game.

Familiarise yourself with the table and its interface before you wager.

Set win and loss limits before you begin playing, and be sure to stick to them.

Avoid the Five-Number bet as it has a high house advantage of 7.89%.

Winning Strategies

When to bet: You will have on average 30-90 seconds to place your bet, depending on the roulette variant. Betting is only allowed during this period so make sure you place your bet well within this timeframe.

How to place the chips correctly: Chips are automatically placed correctly with a click of a button.

When the spin begins: The spin starts when the croupier drops the ball onto the track in the wheel as it spins. A minimum of three complete revolutions are required for the round to be considered valid.

When the spin concludes: Winning bets are paid out immediately once the ball lands.

When betting time begins again: The commencement of a new round is clearly indicated on screen and the betting area raises again.

Etiquette: Use the chat feature but make sure to show respect towards others including the croupier. People are here to have fun, so make the experience pleasant for everyone!

Error Handling: When necessary, a shift manager can assist here just as they would in a regular land-based casino.
