2019 Alabama Crimson Tide Football Schedule Analysis

From CollegeFootballNews:

– Good … luck … Duke. As a program, Alabama will probably have a few issues it would like to work out after that national championship debacle, and the Blue Devils will almost certainly be the road kill.

New Mexico State is the scrimmage that follows, and Southern Miss and Western Carolina close out a non-conference slate the Crimson Tide will probably win by a combined total of at least 130 – more like 150 – points in the four games.

– The SEC season starts out at South Carolina. It’s hardly easy, but considering the Tide misses Florida and Georgia, it’s not all that bad. The permanent rival game against the East against Tennessee is in Tuscaloosa. So where’s the problem? …

– At Texas A&M. It’s one of just two road games – South Carolina the other – from the start of the season until mid-November, and there’s a week off to prepare, but that’s going to be a war.

There’s a week off before facing LSU, too, and that’s at home. Going on the road to face Mississippi State and Auburn is dangerous. However, beat both the Aggies and LSU Tigers, and the Tide should be able to afford one late slip.
