American golfer Tony Finau pays out $4000 on a $100 bet with a Masters win this year.

He has three professional wins and finished as high as 3nd in the 2019 Open Championship and 5th in that year's Masters.

In early 2021, Finau had a stretch of five weeks where he finished in the top 4 in all four tournaments that he entered.

Finau is known for an infamous ankle injury from a few years back.  It was his Augusta debut in 2018.  Finau took off in a dead sprint down the slope toward the hole after making an ace on the par-3 course.  His ankle buckled and appeared to dislocate and get stuck slightly out of place

“It changed my footwork for a long time,” Finau added. “I think even to this day I have some tendencies …”

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
