WSOP Thursday Night Update: Jeff Banghart Back on TopJeff Banghart has been having a great go of it at this year's World Series of Poker. The native Nebraskan has been atop the chip leader board on and off for the past two days.
Banghart's total wins to date equal $61,120. Hardly anything to write home about especially since this amount has extended over a three year period. However, it appears he has really been honing his poker skills of late.
His big win came with the 2007 WSOP Circuit Tournament - Horseshoe Council Bluffs No-Limit Hold'em Championship Event where he won a nice $54,216, coming in 4th place. This was back in February. He also placed 47th in a previous event the month before, taking home a few hundred dollars. This could be Jeff's year.
