UFC TUF 7 Finale Betting Odds - Evan Tanner

While nearly all the online sportsbooks had UFC TUF 7 Finale betting odds for Evan Tanner set at -185, SBG Global offered Grove at the lowest risk of -175, requiring only a $17.50 bet compared to a $18.50 bet elsewhere to win $10.00).

"Evan Tanner is not among the biggest favorites on the UFC TUF 7 Finale card," points out Gambling911.com's Dan Shapiro.  "You have guys like Diego Sanchez set at -500 odds."

Both Tanner and his opponent, Kendall Grove, are fighting for their jobs.

Tanner is a former UFC Middleweight and USWF Heavyweight champion with a professional record of 32 wins and 7 losses. He is also the first American to win the Pancrase Neo-Blood tournament in Tokyo, Japan.

Tanner won his first championship when he defeated Heath Herring at USWF 7, and went on to successfully defend that title five times. Tanner then won the UFC Middleweight title at UFC 51, stopping David Terrell with strikes in the first round. He holds other notable victories over Heath Herring, Paul Buentello, Robbie Lawler, and back to back wins over Phil Baroni.

Tanner is currently signed to a 4-fight UFC deal.
