early favorite
verses Rashad Evans

Brandon Vera and
Fabricio Werdum
promised to be a
great matchup being

had this one nearly
even with Vera only

favorite at press
time. Nate
Marquardt was a -165
favorite verses
Thales Leites (+135)
While
Chuck Liddell will
be a draw, he's been
losing steam over
the last year with
some pretty shocking
upsets. There
has also been much
discussion regarding
a supposed
"substance abuse"
problem.
Whether UFC 85 can
live up to the
billing of some
previous UFC events
remains to be seen
but there is no
doubt UFC 85 will
draw plenty of

especially since
these matchups are
perceived as more
"even" compared to
those leading up to
the June 7 event.
