Tiger
Woods US Masters
Odds Still Pay $300
for Every $100Don't look now but Tiger Woods is starting to make some inroads up the Leader Board with only one more day left of the US Masters and his odds offered great value Saturday night heading into Sunday. At +325, Tiger Woods promised to pay $325 for every $100 bet Bookmaker.com. Woods was in 5th place coming into Sunday. Trevor Immelman, who has remained in the lead since Thursday, had his odds slashed to even at Bookmaker.com. Brandt Snedeker would pay $400 for every $100 bet. Steve Flesch would pay out $800 for every $100 bet. Paul Casey would pay $615 for every $100 bet. These were all relatively unknowns that led Tiger Woods. Three of them would offer much better payouts than Tiger. Jim Litke of the AP writes: The four names ahead of Tiger Woods going into Sunday's final round belong to guys who could have spent the last few years in golf's version of a witness-protection program. Steve Flesch, to pick one, is so little known that when he walked into the interview room at the Masters a day earlier, he was introduced as "Steve Fresh." A win by Steve Fresh....err....Steve Flesch....would mean a payout of $15,000 for anyone who bet him prior to Thursday. Gambling911.com was unaware of any Steve Flesch bets placed early. Brad Snedeker has been a co-leader and was holding his own coming into Sunday in the number two position. An early bet on Snedeker would pay $12,500 for every $100 bet. ---- Christopher Costigan, Gambling911.com Publisher CCostigan@CostiganMedia.com Originally published April 12, 2008 10:54 pm EST
