A teenager from Finland who stole more than €150,000 from an online casino in Malta after discovering a glitch in their software will serve a 20-month sentence.

Prosecutors claimed that the teen's parents were accomplices in their son’s crimes.  The family cannot be named because their son was a minor (16) at the time of the crime, which occurred between 2016 and 2017.  They have been charged with aggravated fraud and money laundering and must repay the stolen funds and forfeit a motorcycle the mother purchased.
