Sopranos, Ron Paul, Alberto Gonzalez and A-Rod Top The ChartsThe Sopranos, Ron Paul, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez and A-Rod top the charts here at Gambling911.com, in that order. Yes it's the Sopranos coverage that has enjoyed the most readership for the last three days and we expect that trend to continue up to and immediately after the much anticipated Sunday night finale.
"You can actually bet on the Sopranos," comments Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of Gambling911.com. "This marks the first time that individuals can bet on a specific Sopranos episode as opposed to the typical early season betting odds on which character gets whacked or dies of natural causes first."
The spoilers are few and far between, so online gambling websites are not shy about offering these odds, or at least Bodog.com isn't. CNN Radio out of Washington, D.C. spoke to Gambling911.com about these Sopranos betting odds on Tuesday.
2008 Presidential candidate Ron Paul continues to garner plenty of attention here at Gambling911.com.
Ron Paul Odds Slashed Dramatically: 15 to 1 from 200 to 1 is an article that has been linked from a few dozen Ron Paul-themed websites and those that simply like the guy but have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with politics (a la this body building site) You gotta love the momentum.
"He spoke well at Tuesday night's Republican convention," comments Gambling911.com's own political betting analyst, Carrie Stroup (pictured left). "His odds remained at 15 to 1 heading into Wednesday but that could all change."
Ron Paul supports online gambling and Tuesday's late breaking news that an independent group is seeking judgment restraining the United States from enforcing the "Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006" (UIGEA) should put a smile on his face (if Carrie Stroup hasn't already - hubba hubba).
The current law prevents U.S. credit-card companies and banks from processing payments to online gambling businesses.
The actual efforts by the The Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association (iMEGA) appear to be aimed at Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who is seen as acting overly aggressive against the online gambling sector. Millions of dollars were wiped off publicly traded Internet gambling shares trading on the London Stock Exchange as a result of this law's passage.
This story will continue to gain steam throughout the next couple of days so watch for Gambling911.com's full coverage. Gambling911.com first broke the story Tuesday afternoon.
And finally, A-Rod Alex Rodriguez won't go away. It's been a full week now since news (and photos) appeared of A-Rod entering a Toronto strip club with
Joslyn Noel Morse. A number of articles related to this subject appear among the most read here at Gambling911.com right through Tuesday.
