Sopranos in South Florida at the Hard Rock Casino for FinaleFor anyone wanting a glimpse of their favorite Sopranos stars, you're in luck....you just need to be in South Florida this Sunday.
All the big name Sopranos stars are being paid big bucks to appear at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida, which will forever be known as the place where Anna Nicole passed away.
High rollers will be treated to a VIP party with the Sopranos stars.
According to the New York Post, stars James Gandolfini, Steven Van Zandt, Tony Sirico, Steve Schirripa, Michael Imperioli, Lorraine Bracco, Vince Curatola and John Ventimiglia are set to attend the invitation-only affair.
"It's a private party for high rollers, but it's turned into something much more," says a show insider expected to attend.
Gandolfini - who earns $1 million an episode - is being paid in the neighborhood of $250,000 for the once-in-a-lifetime party appearance, according to informed estimates.
His cast-mates are also expected to rake in big bucks for the party, although they will make substantially less, possibly between $50,000 and $75,000, depending on where they sit on the "Sopranos" pecking order, industry sources say.
The only common folk allowed will be winners of the "Lucky Swipe" slot contest, who were randomly chosen over the last few weeks after inserting their casino cards into the hotel's gaming machines.
They will attend a dinner and viewing party with the cast.
The Hard Rock party is just one of several casino gigs for the actors, who'll hit Foxwoods casino in Connecticut Saturday night and are also expected at the Atlantic City Hilton later this month.
A "Sopranos" goodbye tour of East Coast casinos seems an appropriate way to say "ciao" to the mob opera. One of this season's major twists was the revelation of Tony's gambling addiction.
Gambling911.com was offered an opportunity to cover this major event as well but our crew will be attending CAP Spring Break in the Bahamas and watching the Soprnaos finale there.
