Former New York City Mayor and proven leader during the 9/11 disaster, Rudy Giuliani, will be honored in the coming week during his time spent campaigning in Florida. One of the more respected individuals from the online gambling community will be present during these slated events. Giuliani is running for US President as a Republican and was once the frontrunner. His unconventional campaign strategy elected to ignore key states such as Iowa and New Hampshire in early primaries. Instead, his initial focus has been on delegate-heavy Florida. Gambling911.com can reveal that an online gambling industry representative will be having one-on-one dialogue (and “informed lobbying”) with Rudy next week regarding his stance on Internet gambling and the advertising thereof. This is in stark contrast to the industry drinking convention that takes place in London - ICE. "While many an online gambling executive will be reading prepared and recycled scripts from teleprompters about where the industry is heading next week, the real leaders of the industry will be meeting with the real future world leaders who can make it all happen," said Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website. "Giuliani's accomplishments in New York City are well documented and applauded by the masses." Many transplanted New Yorkers now call Florida home in fact. Florida is also home to some of the more prominent news and information websites covering the online gambling industry, including Gambling911.com, which is based out of Miami Beach. The individual in question is not meeting exclusively to discuss online gambling, but rather the discussion will be brought up, since it is obviously dear to his heart. This person is working with the Giuliani campaign in an effort to ensure he gets elected next President of the United States. Giuliani's stance on Internet gambling is not fully known though he has failed to make it a priority.
