Kazushi Sakuraba is often referred to as "The Gracie Hunter" for his victories over the famed Gracie family of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practicioners.

An epic bout between the two fighters ended seven years ago with the legendary Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter suffering a rare loss to one of Japan's top all-time wrestlers.

Kazushi Sakuraba is considered by many to be the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. 14 years into his career, he remains one of the most popular fighters in Japan. He is known as "The IQ Wrestler", for his brilliance in the arts of catch wrestling and freestyle wrestling and for his overall cerebral approach to fighting and also as "Saku", which is frequently represented by the number "39" (the Japanese pronunciation of 3 being "san" and 9 "ku").

Royce Gracie is a legend in the world of Mixed Martial Arts.  While shooting Bodog Fight Season Three, Gracie would run several miles each morning with his trainer along the boiling hot beaches of Playa Tambor.

"(The fight is) just going to be a faster pace. When we fought the first fight in 2000, people told me `You won the first three or four rounds until you injured your legs.' It got to the point where I couldn't get up or walk," Gracie said. "Until then people were saying that I was pushing the fight."

This will be the LA Coliseum's first MMA event ever.

Last week's UFC 71 event in Las Vegas became the single most bet on Mixed Martial Arts event with unprecedented traffic generated to the Sports911.com website.

"There were some huge payouts to be had in that one," comments Sports911.com's Tyrone Black.

That's because underdogs won out overall including Quinton "Rampage" Jackson in his bout against favored Chuck Liddell
