Ron Paul Left Out in the Cold

As we reported yesterday here at Gambling911.com, 2008 US Presidential hopeful Ron Paul has been excluded from an upcoming Republican debate to be shown on a local New Hampshire Fox affiliate.  Supporters and Ron Paul's campaign people are calling Fox out.

"They are scared of me," Paul himself said of Fox on Sunday.

Jennifer Reynolds of Gambling911.com:

"Ron Paul supporters will be holding rallies, writing letters to the editor, boycotting all sponsors, calling Fox news and in an additional move there is even talk of contacting all shareholders of the company that owns Fox news (I will let you look that up yourself) and is advising everyone to sell sell sell and for those of you not able to sell, buy short.  I am not offering any advice, I am only reporting what I have seen in print."

And the Fox station certainly received plenty of letters as this broadcast below points out.

While some might argue Ron Paul is drawing lower poll numbers than say a Rudy Giuliani, he is drawing a higher percentage in the polls than another invited candidate, Fred Thompson.

The candidates invited to the forum/debate – whatever you want to call it – will be Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. John McCain, Gov. Mitt Romney and Sen. Fred Thompson.

Fergus Cullen, chairman of the New Hampshire State Republican Committee, said the event, which is set to take place two days before the New Hampshire primary, will be held in the afternoon or evening at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, N.H. When asked if Fox News, which is co-sponsoring the debate with the NH party, planned to invite Paul later, Cullen said he didn't know.

"It's really premature. Just the other day candidates started to accept invitations."

The Ron Paul exclusion has already hit the Fox News Wikipedia page.

Fox news is attempting to electioneer the results of the presidential election, by excluding Ron Paul from the forum in New Hampshire. Out of the 5 candidates invited, one candidate; Fred Thompson, has consistently polled lower then Ron Paul in New Hampshire. Critics of this action taken by Fox are participating in nationwide boycotts of all Fox News advertisers. Some critics of this action have gone as far as dumping stock they own in NWS, causing the stock prices for Fox News Parent company to plummet.
