Ron Paul Odds Slashed at Bodog Life2008 US Presidential candidate Ron Paul's odds, which last week were around 25 to 1, have been slashed substantially. First we saw odds of 17 to 1. Today we see odds of 12 to 1. That's a $1200 payout for every $100 bet. Only problem is the max bet on political elections at Bodog Life is $50 which translates into a maximum win of $600.
The most interesting thing here is that Bodog initially had Ron Paul as the biggest long shot as is evidenced by the fact that they have not changed the order in which they listed from shortest odds to longest odds. They even had him with worse odds than Jim Gilmore. But the one thing this demonstrates is just how much of an impact Ron Paul is having on the race since Bodog first released these odds.
As you can also see, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson have both passed over John McCain, who continues to hold pat at around 5 to 1 odds at most online gambling websites. He was initially the second favorite to win the Republican nomination after Rudy Giuliani.
