Ron Paul Talks About Being Friend of the Internet

Why should the Internet be important to people?  "The Internet to me is the political equalizer of our age," 2008 US Presidential candidate Ron Paul explained.  "We who use the Internet a whole lot find out they can get information that is unbiased."

This is Carrie Stroup reporting for Gambling911.com.

Ron Paul claims that there are a lot of people who don't like the major news programs as much.  Dr. Paul believes that there are few young people sitting around watching TV all day.

Ron Paul claims he is doing much better with his campaign than originally thought.

"Literally, the Internet has been spontaneous for us.  I think our campaign is different from others because we are philosophically motivated and we're not a top down.  We try our best to be well organized."

But Paul admitted he is having a tough time keeping up with the various groups that keep popping up throughout the US, presumably those that support his campaign.

"When I talk about freedom and people know about the freedom of the Internet, there must be a connection there."

Paul made it clear also that he would never want to tax or regulate the Internet, unlike "big government", which he says have even approached the UN about taxation.

"I see this as a very dangerous notion but right now I think they (big government) are going to have a tough time reigning in the Internet and I think that is great."

Ron Paul continues to be listed with 15 to 1 odds at Sportsbook.com.   Paul is also on record as saying he would support online gambling.
