2008 US Presidential hopeful, Ron Paul, has been confirmed to appear at tonight's South Carolina Republican debate (January 10) The rules for this debate were that candidates had to poll 5% in New Hampshire or be polling 5% nationally. Paul, Giuliani, Huckabee, McCain, and Romney were the top 5 in New Hampshire. Fred Thompson qualifies because he is still polling over 5% nationally.
Paul polled at 8% in
Tuesday's New
Hampshire debate.
Some of the early polls showed Paul with as much as 10% of the vote in South Carolina. Oddsmakers at BetUS.com have made Ron Paul a 25/1 long shot to win there. ---- Christopher Costigan, Gambling911.com Publisher CCostigan@CostiganMedia.com
