Ron Paul Will be Featured in South Carolina Fox News Republican Debate

2008 US Presidential hopeful, Ron Paul, has been confirmed to appear at tonight's South Carolina Republican debate (January 10)

The rules for this debate were that candidates had to poll 5% in New Hampshire or be polling 5% nationally. Paul, Giuliani, Huckabee, McCain, and Romney were the top 5 in New Hampshire. Fred Thompson qualifies because he is still polling over 5% nationally.

Paul polled at 8% in Tuesday's New Hampshire debate.

Ron Paul was excluded from last Sunday's GOP debate, resulting in massive protests and the eventual withdrawal of the New Hampshire GOP as co-sponsor.

Some of the early polls showed Paul with as much as 10% of the vote in South Carolina.   Oddsmakers at BetUS.com have made Ron Paul a 25/1 long shot to win there.
