It's down to just four finalists to become the Rock Star Supernova.  Last year's winner, Canadian J.D. Fortune (nice name) went on to front Australian rock band INXS.

Supernova’s Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke and Jason Newsted will reach a decision this week as to who will be fronting their band, and leading them on a worldwide tour.

Roichaux would pay out $5 for every $2 bet.  But she's far from a "sure thing" as Lukas Rossi sits immediately behind her with odds of 3 to 2.  Magni Asgeirsson comes in with odds of 4 to 1 and Toby Rand has odds of 3 to 2.

This is a tight race for sure.

Rock Star: Supernova is the second season of the reality television show Rock Star. The show, hosted by Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke (ironically, the one time spokesperson for Sportsbook.com), features 15 contestants competing to become the lead vocalist for a newly-formed supergroup featuring Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke. As the show's name implies, the new group will be called Supernova.

The show began online on the Rock Star web site on MSN on Monday, July 3rd with an Internet exclusive weekly episode and premiered on 5 July 2006 on CBS in the United States and Global in Canada. Once again, it is hosted by Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke. Votes can be cast on the Rock Star website or by text message on Verizon Wireless.

Unlike in the first season, the behind-the-scenes episodes were not televised in the U.S.; instead, they were available online at the official MSN sponsored website, to subscribers of Verizon, and through the Rock Star tab on Windows Live Messenger. However, these "In the Mansion" reality episodes did air on television in Canada on Global, in Australia on Foxtel channel FOX8, and in Asia on STAR World.

Supernova will record an album after the show's run with the first single released in September 2006. Supernova's first concert performance will take place on New Year's Eve at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. A world tour will follow in early 2007.
