Rasmussen Poll Has Ron Paul at 14%: Oddsmakers Have him at 14/1 Odds of Winning New Hampshire

While oddsmakers have Republican John McCain the big winner in that party's bid at Tuesday's New Hampshire Primaries for US President, Ron Paul has been given +1400 (14 to 1) odds of winning - a $1400 payout for every $100 bet at the Jesse Ventura endorsed BetUS.com.

There are no odds on who will come out in third place and Rasmussen poll numbers suggest it will be Paul.  Both Mike Huckabee and Rudy Giuliani are trailing the maverick long time Texas Congressman.

A third place finish for Ron Paul may be just as good as number one, however.  Following a 10% finish in Iowa that many concede was "impressive", a strong top three finish in the "Live Free or Die" state will open many eyes nationwide where Paul still lags in polling.

Much of the spotlight will be shined on John McCain Tuesday.  The comeback Republican, whose campaign was left for dead just a month ago, is a huge favorite to win in that state, followed by Mitt Romney.  In fact, John McCain is listed with -350 odds to win in New Hampshire.  He won the 2000 Primaries there.

These were the odds at BetUS.com appearing below:
