Viewers angry over new
Apprentice Randal's response dissing Rebecca
In an awkward ending
to the Apprentice Season 4, winner Randal Pickett was
asked by Donald Trump:
“If you were me,
would you hire Rebecca also?” he asked Randal, and
we all knew what was coming next. After getting the
nod from Randal, Donald Trump was going to make
“Apprentice” history and hire Rebecca too.
His response:
“Mr. Trump, I
firmly believe that this is ‘The Apprentice,’ that
there is one and only one apprentice, and if you’re
going to hire someone tonight, it should be one,”
Randal said. “It’s not ‘The Apprenti,’ it’s ‘The
Apprentice.’”
That audience booed, feeling as
betrayed as Rebecca must have, and
as Randal jogged to the end of the
stage to wave at the crowd, he was
facing a group that had lost some of
their respect for him; their
clapping and cheering was subdued,
and boos were still audible.
Rebecca just shook Trump’s hand and
said, “That’s unfortunate.”
Gambling911.com's own Bones McCoy
actually predicted that Donald Trump
would select both Randal and Rebecca
to be named his next Apprentice.
Both were equally talented and
complimented each other well.
Still, no online bookmakers listed
odds on whether both would be hired.
It is not known how the payouts
would have been handled in such a
situation. Gambling911.com
urged bookmakers to pay attention to
this potential twist.
Meanwhile, viewers around the world
have been expressing their outrage
to Gambling911.com all morning.
Randal had a honest as people mentioned in the
audience. That he was sincere. I think Rebecca was
better then Randal. When Donald Trump in the end
asked Randal what he thought of hiring Rebecca also.
His ingorants and lack of leadership and compassion
was sickening. If he had any feelings he would not
have been selfish in himself and said there only can
be one apprentice and it is me.
What he should of said is that Rebecca was a great
team player and a heart
warming person and competitive and I believe that
she should of been an
apprentice also. I think Mr. Trump was stunded when
Randal was into himself and wanted to be on
top not even realizing that Rebecca was just as
good. You can tell this to Mr Trump.

angry viewer, Robert Scmidbauer, wrote in:
I thought Randel
was very unethical in his self-centered comments in
not
recommending Rebecca as a second apprentice. With
his eduication he wasn't very smart in my opinion.
She could have managed the second project. As a 23
year old she was too much competion for Randel and I
feel he was threatened
Last week when
www.pinnaclesports.com opened betting on The
Apprentice: Donald, Randal was at -400 and Rebecca at
+350 to win the job with The Trump Organization. The
company closed betting on Thursday evening before the
show aired with Randal -403, Rebecca +353.
On Monday, Pinnacle re-opened wagering with Randal at
-300 and Rebecca +260 because both candidates face
obstacles in their final tasks, but Randal’s seems more
daunting as Mother Nature is threatening the entire
event.
As of 11:00 am EST Tuesday, Randal was still at
-200 while Rebecca was at +180, but with an influx of
recent bets pushing the lines in Rebecca’s favor,
according to Pinnacle Sports.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Rebecca was listed as the -133
favorite while Randal was the +117 dog.
PinnacleSports is yet
to report on the closing odds as of Friday morning.
