Odds Prior to
Primaries and Caucus 1. Hillary Clinton - Nobody was coming close to this favorite to be the next US President back in November. While she remained a favorite on Christmas Day 2007, Hillary's lead in the odds had shrunk somewhat. December 25 - average odds EVEN Downward Trend 2. Barack Obama was listed around 3 to 1 odds to 6/1 back in November and that hasn't change much except for the fact that he is now much closer to 3-1 odds at most online gambling sites and ahead of Rudy Giuliani among oddsmakers. BetUS.com in fact had Obama at nearly 2-1 odds on Christmas Day. December 25 - average odds 3.5 to 1 Upward Trend 3. Ron Paul - This Republican candidate raised more than $4 million in a single day back in October and raised even more on December 16 ($6.2 mil) The most popular featured candidate for US President on Gambling911.com, Ron Paul's odds have been slashed dramatically from 200/1 to 6/1 at Sportsbook.com over the past 6 months. Things are leveling out. He's at 10 to 1 odds there, 16 to 1 odds at BetUS.com and 20 to 1 odds at the British bookmakers.
