Kamala Harris Drops Out of Presidential Race

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sen. Kamala Harris told supporters on Tuesday that she was ending her bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.  She was among the favorites to win the nomination early on and her odds were yanked Tuesday afternoon at BetOnline.

“I’ve taken stock and looked at this from every angle, and over the last few days have come to one of the hardest decisions of my life,” the California Democrat said. “My campaign for president simply doesn’t have the financial resources we need to continue.”

A senior campaign aide said Harris made the decision Monday after discussing the path forward with family and other top officials over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Her abrupt withdrawal marked a dramatic fall for a candidate who showed extraordinary promise. Harris launched her campaign in front of 20,000 people on a chilly January day in Oakland, California. The first woman and first black attorney general and U.S. senator in California’s history, she was widely viewed as a candidate poised to excite the multiracial coalition of voters that sent Barack Obama to the White House.

Giuliani Says Biden Documents Released ‘If I Disappear’

Rudy Giuliani, a focus of the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump’s foreign policy dealings, suggested he has dirt on the Biden family that would be released were he to get into trouble -- after earlier hinting he has a plan if he should fall out of favor with the president.

Without offering proof, Giuliani tweeted that he had “files in my safe about the Biden Family’s 4 decade monetizing” of the former vice president and senator’s office. “If I disappear, it will immediately appear.”

Giuliani, referring to the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, said on Twitter that “the Mafia couldn’t kill me so NO, I am not worried about the swamp press.”  The implication being that Giuliani still has information that’s not been released publicly from his days as a U.S. Attorney.

Biden's odds of winning the 2020 US Presidential election were at 5-1 for a payout potential of $500 on every $100 bet.

Bloomberg is Officially In

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg, the former Mayor of New York City, has officially jumped into the Democratic Presidential race.

His self-funded campaign will skip the first four states in the primary.

“I’m running for president to defeat Donald Trump and rebuild America,” Bloomberg said in a statement. “We cannot afford four more years of President Trump’s reckless and unethical actions. He represents an existential threat to our country and our values. If he wins another term in office, we may never recover from the damage.”

Though some books opened Bloomberg at 6-1 odds, BetOnline had him at 20-1.

DNA Tests Show Hunter Biden Father of Arkansas Woman's Child

(November 21, 2019) - There were early fears that Hunter Biden could prove to be some extra baggage for his dad, former Vice President Joe Biden, should he opt to step into the Democratic race for President.  Indeed he Joe Biden is running and leads in most national polls.

Hunter's role in the Ukraine Scandal has become the Republicans key talking point.

Hunter's judgement continues to come into question with reports that surfaced Wednesday whereby DNA tests  “with scientific certainty" show he is the father of an Arkansas woman's child.

These results do impact Hunter's dad.  He's the child's grandfather.

The Trump campaign tweeted out a link to the Arkansas Gazette article, adding three words of its own: "Congratulations, Joe Biden!"
