Jenny Woo in Norway at the FHM Poker Tour: Part II

I had every intention on writing part two of my Norway trip on Thursday night, but I got a little sidetracked. I had a very good reason. A friend
of mine has Dolphins season tickets (club seats I might add) and he wasn’t going to attend Thursday nights game. Overall, he offered them to moi. Jenny wasn’t going to let the tickets go to waste. So Carrie (my best friend), her boyfriend, another friend, and I went and watched a great game. With that said, I needed just a couple of days to recover from that night. And now giving you guys yet another excuse why you haven’t heard from me. But like I said before, “I had a very good reason”.

Now....Where did I leave off in my last article? Oh yes, good tournament, awesome entertainment, couldn’t get drunk, lack of sleep, and let’s not forget sight seeing. Ok, so lets continue with that last part. I went sightseeing for about two hours and it was just enough time to check out the some beautiful sights of Oslo, including the palace of the King and Queen.

As we were there the crowned price Hakkon and princess Mette-Marit, who was gracefully waving, were passing in there motorcade. What can I say? They knew Jenny was going to be in the area.

Bjorn, my travel guide, told me that the princess was a true Cinderella. The short version of this story is that before the prince and princess met
she was a drug addicted single mother. When they fell in love, the Norwegian government strongly objected to the relationship. But then the King stepped in and said that if they were in love then so be it. And now they are living happily ever after.......of course with her sober and no longer a single mother.

The guards if front of the palace in Oslo were similar to the guards that are in front of the palace in the UK. They stand straight making very little movement and stare with no expression on their face. I almost attempted to flash one of them, but one.... there were kids around and two..... I wasn’t drunk. I did however catch one of them giving me a little quick stare. Thank God for that I thought I was losing my touch.

After a refreshing walk through Oslo, we met up with some of the people from Purple-Lounge (including Julia and Diana) in the hotel to go eat lunch. That’s when I noticed poor Julia not feeling her best. But she definitely was a trooper, I’m sure thinking that the show must go on. From lunch we met up in front of the Norway FHM office where the charter bus was waiting. We then embarked on a three hour non-hung over bus ride. Actually, there were a few more people tagging along this trip, including a few of Julia’s friends from the UK. Who were hilarious I might add. Jenny’s cheeks hurt from laughing so much.

We arrived in the small Norwegian town called Lillehammer, just in time for dinner. But before we ate we walked around a little bit checking out the
scenery. I think the locals were checking out there new scenery as well, I couldn’t help thinking all eyes were on us. WTF?

With food and a few drinks in our systems, we were ready to get the show going. The set up was great and the club came with an added bonus for the
girls, their very own cabin to get ready. In which later turned into a little quiet time room for a well deserved sick Julia.

I watched the tournament for a bit and then finished the night outside on the patio laughing my ass off with cuties James and Richard (Julia’s friends from the UK).

A little after one in the morning, we all boarded the bus and made our way back to Oslo. With a nice little buzzed tired combo, I had no problem passing out when we got back to the hotel. Probably a good thing since I needed to be up at eight (WTF?) to catch my flight back to the U.S.

In conclusion to this awesome and fun trip, I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone involved. You guys did a great job and deserve a long vacation for this one. A special thanks to Julia Wild (Marketing Director), Dominic Gorham (Tour Director), Diana Booty, and Naomi Addyman (who took care of Jenny’s travel plans). Also, Glen Francis and Justin Smalley for working endless days to train these hot FHM girls. Others include: Mats Johnsen, Marco Beranzoni, Matt Larter (all from Purple-Lounge), Stig Jakobsen (Editor, FHM), Finn (Marketing Director, FHM), Mathias (Tour Production), William and Nico Cronard (Tour Manager and Assistant Manager), Tom Ottersen
(Coach/Transport), and last but not least Andros who delievered the poker tables.
