Sure Sparky Collins - Gambling911.com's resident transgender reporter - was a surefire hit at this past Sunday's Championship Game party, but little has been written about poker legend Doyle Brunson....who despite warnings from family members, made it into Miami Beach. Family members urged the poker dinosaur not to go, fearing for his health. Gambling911.com reporter, Jenny Woo, who has been undergoing treatment, begged the family to release Doyle and stop being so "protective". "I regret not being there to see my hunky poker playing friend, but unfortunately it is not possible at this time," Woo said in a written statement. "The Gambling911.com party was a blast!" declared Brunson, whose online poker room is currently offering a 110% signup bonus and massive bank breaking tourneys. "If I am going to die and go to that great poker room in the sky I might as well pass in the presence of a few dozen sexy girls." And a 6'2 220 pound transgender perhaps. There was a brief scare when Doyle Brunson collapsed during the party and stop breathing. One of the hot girls resuscitated him with mouth to mouth and he was back up in no time. "I'm having the time of my life here! Thank you Gambling911.com for having me."
Doyle Brunson's photo sits beside that of Bodog founder Calvin Ayre along the Gambling911.com Hall of Fame, which includes photos of other legends who have made contact with the website including porn legend, Ron Jeremy, and a number of the Sopranos stars. ---- Payton O'Brien, Gambling911.com Senior Editor POBrien@CostiganMedia.com Originally published January 23, 2008 7:45 pm EST
