Steelers Like Walking Around Hotel Hallways Nude
A female officer is
claiming that she was passed over for a security job
guarding the Pittsburgh Steelers at their hotel
because the players "walk down the hallway with no
clothes on."
This is Carrie Stroup reporting for Sports911.com.
Officer Kevin Head
acknowledges that he made that decision:
"They just couldn't work the floors where the guys
were with no clothes on. I don't know why
everybody's blowing this out of proportion. Really,
I didn't even think they took it like they took it.
I had two posts that required the men to be on the
floor," said Officer Head, a 16-year veteran.
"This is where they're sleeping. They walk down the
hallway with no clothes on," he continued. "I didn't
put women up there. That was my choice"
Officer Cynthia
Feretti and her supervisor filed internal complaints
Wednesday with the police department about the
assignments, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
Officer Head acknowledged that the Pittsburgh
Steelers (with
25 to 1 odds of winning the
2008 Super Bowl) made the decision not to
hire Feretti on his own.
"The Hilton didn't
have anything to do with it," Head told the
newspaper.
Police Cmdr. RaShall Brackney said an internal
review will determine whether the job assignment was
done in accordance with regulations governing
secondary work.
Kicker
Jeff Reed was reportedly hitting on some ladies late
last year, got shot down, then sent one of the
ladies a photo of himself standing in front of his
hotel mirror three quarters naked.
