The Philadelphia Eagles take on the New Orleans Saints as a +7.5 to +8 road dog having lost a lot of their luster following last year's Super Bowl win.

The Eagles have been one of the NFLs bigger disappointments this season. Philadelphia is 4-5 straight up and just 3-6 against the spread. A big drop in red zone efficiency from last season is a factor in why the Eagles are 5-4 to the under. Early betting action favors the road team getting more than a touchdown and the over is getting more action than the under.

The Eagles are in danger of joining some unwanted company. At 4-5, the Eagles are on the outside looking in for the playoffs at this stage of the season. The 2016 Denver Broncos are the only team in the last four years to miss the playoffs immediately following a Super Bowl victory.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints are ranking number one in the nation heading into Week 11.   They've also been great for bettors, having lost just one game outright and failing to cover in two.

New Orleans has averaged 36.7 points per game, the over is only 5-4 in Saints games. New Orleans has opened up a two-game lead in the NFC South and only trails the Rams by a half-game in the race for home field advantage in the playoffs.
