Online Gambling Community Bands Together to Fight UIGEA
Online gambling companies are working feverishly to support Congressman Barney Frank's efforts to repeal the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act). Mr. Frank has already acknowledged that the support has been coming in and his office is quite pleased.
Gambling911.com is working with CasinoGamblingWeb.com to get their petition driving going. The effort they have put into this project really shows.
The petition URL is

"The Public Outcry Campaign we are running is for people to call in their
congress people and that is going very well so far, but of course it could use much greater promotion," commented a CasinoGamingWeb rep. "We have created two pages for that, one is a list of all congress people with their contact information"
That list can be found at this URL
http://www.casinogamblingweb.com/us-representative-contact-information.jsp and a page explaining the campaign with five talking points for callers to emphasize when they call can be found at this URL

A handful of Antigua based online gambling websites have been emailing their customers to get on board as well.
The Poker Players Alliance has been working behind the scenes as well.
Likewise, Gambling911.com has met with some key industry representatives who will be working behind the scenes to assist in Mr. Frank and other political allies campaigns.
Together, the online gambling community is a force. The industry didn't hit the billion dollar mark because nobody cares about it.
