Odds to win the 2007
Super Bowl vary
depending on
sportsbook
We reviewed three online sportsbooks, noting that sports bettors should maintain a minimum of three online sports betting accounts in order to maximize value. Case in point, it might be a wise decision to bet on three different teams to win the 2007 Super Bowl with three different online sportsbooks - or even more. For example, should you decide to bet $100 each on Indianapolis, New England and Carolina at PinnacleSports.com, the total risk would equal $300. Assuming one of these teams win, you could walk off with anywhere from $300 - if Indianapolis were to win the 2007 Super Bowl with odds of 5 to 1 - to around $900 - assuming a Carolina win. These amounts include the subtracted $200 from the other two teams losing. Indianapolis, for the most part, is a favorite to win the 2007 Super Bowl across the board. Odds vary however. The win would be closer to $700 for every $100 bet at SportsInteraction.com, which lists odds of Indianapolis winning the 2007 Super Bowl at 7.00. Pinnacle has them with around 6 to 1 at press time. VIP.com, meanwhile, lists Indianapolis chances at odds of 11 to 2 (or bet $100 to win $550). Our suggestion is to bet on the Colts at PinnacleSports.com being that the difference is not substantial. The Dallas Cowboys odds vary considerably from one book to another with PinnacleSports.com listing them as the second favorite to win the 2007 Super Bowl, almost neck and neck with New England at 8 to 1 odds or +800 (give or take a little). SportsInteraction.com again has the best odds at press time of 15 to 1. This folks is a very substantial difference. If you like the Dallas Cowboys to win the 2007 Super Bowl despite all the reported early Terrell Owens distractions, then bet at Sportsinteraction.com (Visit Website Here)
Carolina is another team that oddsmakers believe can win the 2007 Super Bowl. PinnacleSports.com has slightly better odds than VIP.com, but if you are looking to bet on the Colts to win at Pinnacle, it might be wise to bet Carolina with 10 to 1 odds at VIP.com (Visit Website Here)
A few other solid teams with good odds to win the 2007 Super Bowl include: New England, Miami, Denver, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Washington and Kansas City. You can find all odds to win the 2007 Super Bowl from each of the three above mentioned books below and compare. These odds were as of August 28, 2006 and are likely to change dramatically especially once the season is underway. How to read odds: 5.00 is roughly equal to $500 won for every $100 bet; +500 is $500 won for every $100 bet and 5 to 1 is equal to $500 won for every $100 bet. 10.00 is $1000 for every $100 bet (approximately); +1000 is $1000 won for every $100 bet and 10 to 1 is equal to $1000 won for every $100 bet....and so on.
