New England Patriots Getting 94% of Betting ActionThe New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills game is the biggest of this coming NFL weekend and the Patriots have been getting an incredible 94% of the betting action.
Don't think the online bookies have a strong opinion on this game. They are reacting to the heavy action by moving the line from New England -15 to -16 at Sportsbook.com And to think the Patriots are such a big favorite on the road.
New England - presently undefeated - is a huge 4/11 favorite (bet $11 to win $4) to win the 2008 Super Bowl. More people have the Patriots to win the Super Bowl than any other team in the league.
The Patriots are also listed with +115 odds to go undefeated during the regular season. They are a -145 not to.
The Bills are enjoying a 5-4 record, one of their best seasons yet, having won four games straight.
"Hope for a blizzard, food poison or a bus accident," is what one Bills fan posted on the BillsInsider board, and maybe that won't be enough to provide New England with a loss. Another more practical approach: follow the script of the Colts defense that controlled the Patriots better than anyone else.
The Bills offer great betting value for the most part though this one will be tough to call with the line movement response from bookmakers indicating fears of a New England win even beyond 16 points.
