Neteller Class Action Suit

Neteller has been provided with ample time to come up with a resolution for paying players.  A group of Neteller customers have decided "enough is enough" and they intend to go through with a class action lawsuit against the online payment processing company

There are too many conflicting stories and little communication between Neteller and its affected customers.  This past week, it was learned that a representative from Neteller has been posting on another Yahoo board set up by players under the guise of a customer owed money.

The newly formed group will be retaining a law firm in one of three states: Georgia, Alabama or Tennessee.  Each of these states has acted favorably towards class action suits in the past.

"The idea will be to get 150 members," said the organizer for the suit.  "Each would contribute towards the suit and an outside accounting firm would be brought in to control these fees."

17 individuals are helping to push forth the effort.  These 17 people are owed a total of just over $100,000 from Neteller.

Neteller shut down its business to US customers last January and has failed to pay any of them since, claiming the company was under investigation by US authorities.  The US government has not issued any "confirmed" statements suggesting this is the case and Neteller - an Isle of Man firm - denies they have been charged as a company with any wrongdoing.

Affected customers are also being encouraged to contact officials from the Isle of Man licensing board.

"Our membership is restricted to those adversely affected by Neteller. In order to join, you must verify your contact information, or your membership will NOT be approved. Our initial membership in the first phase is 150 members. Going forward, we will open the lawsuit to all US Neteller customers once we have established momentum securing a legal fund and international representation. Members demonstrating negative behaviors will be banned from the forum."
