Charles Barkley Calls Washington Wizards "Dumbest Team of All Time"

Always controversial and often right, former NBA great and current commentator Charles Barkley said "I think the Washington Wizards have got to be the dumbest team in the history of civilization."

The reason behind his statement:

It seems the Washington Wizards have decided to throw a few choice insults Lebron James' way.  The Wizards meet Lebron's Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

"I think for them to rile up LeBron, who's the second-best player we've got in the NBA . . . I think that's just stupid," Barkley said. "I thought [the Wizards] had a chance to win that series. I don't think that any more."

It's the third straight year the Wizards and Cavs will face one another in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Washington Wizards pay well if they are to win the NBA Championship.  Bets on the Cavs pay $2200 for every $100 bet while the Wizards would pay out $6500 for every $100 bet (see odds here)

The Boston Celtics are technically the favorites with payout odds of $300 for every $200 bet.  There is a $600 maximum bet on NBA Championship futures at Bodog Life

76ers Jason Smith is a "Good Kisser" Claims Porn Star Mary Carey

Porn starlet and former California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey says 76ers forward Jason Smith is a good kisser, reports Philadelphia Daily News's Dan Gross.

According to Carey, Smith was the baller she "wrapped her legs around and made out with in front of clubgoers" Monday night at New York nightspot Butter, as the New York Post's Page Six reported yesterday. ...

The busty blonde told us last night that Smith said he was a fan of her movies and referred to her as "a goddess" before they kissed. 76ers spokesman Michael Preston said yesterday that the team "does not comment on our players' social lives."

The former porn star once studied ballet and dance from the age of seven until she was 19 years.  She would eventually go on to join the dance team at Florida State University, where she was a student in the theatre department.

Shortly after becoming a sex worker, Carey entered the adult film industry as a featured entertainer in 1999. She is best known for her lesbian themed films. The SCORE video release, "Bosom Buddies #6" includes a scene of her and big-breasted model Brittany Love performing oral sex and analingus on each other.

The 27-year old was an independent candidate in the California recall election, placing tenth in a field of 135 candidates.  Her platform included the taxation of breast implants, making lap dances tax deductible, wiring the California Governor's Mansion with live web-cams, allowing bars to stay open until 4 am and same sex marriages.

NBA Basketball Betting (Thursday Night Preview)

It's a slow night coming up Thursday but NBA basketball betting will still be in full swing.

There are only three games slated to hit the hardwood in the NBA on Thursday, featuring only two teams looking to bolster their postseason positions. In the Eastern Conference, Chicago will head to Cleveland, while in the Western Conference, Houston will square off with Portland.  So where should you be betting on these NBA Basketball games Thursday night?  BetOnline.com

Chicago at Cleveland – 8:00 PM ET

The Bulls are not yet mathematically eliminated from postseason contention, but they have their backs against the wall as they trail eighth-place Atlanta by 4.5 games heading into Tuesday's games. The Bulls still do not seem to be playing with any sense of urgency, which will eventually be their undoing. Their big deadline deal which brought Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden to town has not made the Bulls any better, because what they need is a leader, which neither Hughes or Gooden are. That same trade has also not worked out as well as planned for the Cavaliers, as Wally Szczerbiak is still struggling to get used to the Cleveland system. This is a surprise, since Szczerbiak was acquired by Cleveland for his outside shooting, which is made possible by the penetrating power of LeBron James. Also, Ben Wallace is out day-to-day with back spasms. Regardless, the Cavaliers should still finish fourth in the East. The Bulls have taken three of their last five against the Cavaliers, but Chicago is terrible on the road, and they look like they are playing for next season already.  The NBA basketball betting experts at BetOnline.com say "Expect the Cavs to cruise".

Houston at Portland – 10:30 PM ET

The Rockets have fallen to sixth in the West, which just signifies how loaded this conference is this year. This will be the third of a five-game road trip for Houston, which opened the swing with a 21-point loss at San Antonio. However, the rest of the trip could definitely be successful for the Rockets, who travel to Sacramento on Tuesday before heading to Portland, and finishing off with Seattle and the Clippers. The X-factor for the Rockets' playoff run could be 27-year-old rookie Luis Scola, who has a solid all-around game and enough size to bang in the post. The Trailblazers have a difficult week, beginning with a road game against the Lakers on Wednesday, followed by Houston, San Antonio and  home, and another meeting with the Lakers. Brandon Roy has battled injuries over the second half of the season, which is a major cause to the Trailblazers' slide. The Rockets have won all three of their meetings with the Trailblazers this season, and with no Roy in the lineup, expect Houston to complete the season sweep on Thursday.

Houston Rockets Still Pay an Amazing $1300 for Every $100 Bet to Win Championship

The Houston Rockets odds remain at 13/1 of winning the 2008 NBA Championship despite now leading in the powerful Western Conference.  If bet today The Rockets would pay an amazing $1300 for every $100 bet.

The red hot Rockets have stunned skeptics, who believed they would fall back to earth this past week, by extending their win streak on Sunday to an amazing 22.  And they did it against the 45-21 LA Lakers with production from nearly everyone on the Rockets team, except for the guy who has done most of the scoring for Houston, Tracy McGrady.

Kobe Bryant scored 24 points for the Lakers and smothered McGrady on defense, helping hold the Houston star to 11 points on 4-for-16 shooting.

The rest of the Rockets made up for it. Shane Battier scored 14 points and shadowed Bryant most of the game, backup point guard Bobby Jackson added 19 points and Luis Scola had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

"There wasn't a time where we wavered from successful team basketball," Battier said. "Different guys hit shots and we tightened the reins on defense."

An NBA team hasn't been this hot in 36 years. The Rockets beat the Lakers on Sunday to establish the second-longest winning streak in NBA history.

Not surprisingly, the Houston Rockets winning the 2008 NBA Championship at +1300 (13/1) odds is Gambling911.com's value pick of the week.  Just be sure to bet it now and lock these odds in
