MLBPA Executive director Tony Clark issued a statement saying "it appears further dialogue with the league would be futile".

The MLBPA announced Saturday that the "players want to play" and asked where they should report.

With the situation remaining fluid, BetOnline had pulled its season win total futures while allowing bets on this year's World Series winner despite the union having the option to refuse a post season and fears surrounding a second wave of the coronavirus.
