Former Indianapolis Colts cheerleader Lisa Perry
makes a statement with her Week 2 NFL picks.
Miami Beach, Fla. (PRWEB)
September 19, 2005 -- Gambling911.com's Lisa Perry, a
former Indianapolis Colts cheerleader, continued to
build on her impressive NFL picks record with a 7 and 2
early afternoon win. Ultimately, Lisa finished with a 10
and 5 record by the time Sunday was over. Ms. Perry's
San Diego Chargers pick to cover a + 2 1/2 line was even
soften by the fact that many got this one at +3, making
it a push at most online sportsbooks. Perry's 10-5
record follows a 2 and 0 start last week.
"You will see a lot of people following Lisa Perry's
amazing NFL picks next week," commented Christopher
Costigan, Founder and President of
www.gambling911.com. "This is a no-brainer. I know
of few sports handicappers who actually worked on the
sidelines of a professional football team for 5
seasons."
Perry cheered on the sidelines of the Indianapolis Colts
home field for 5 seasons before pursuing her writing,
reporting and sports handicapping career at
Gambling911.com.
"At first I'm skeptical but won big with three picks
early," said Hai Eng N., a sports gambler and avid
reader of Gambling911 out of San Diego, California. "I
have Bengals because Lisa seemed knowledgeable of that
team. Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay were two more
selections I followed of hers. I got San Diego as a
push."
Indeed, Ms. Perry offered a number of solid dogs,
including the Chicago Bears - a +1 dog at most online
sportsbooks, The Carolina Panthers - a +3 1/2 dog that
not only covered but won, and the Cleveland Browns, who
won on Green Bay's home field as a +6 underdog.
"I felt very good going into this weekend," Lisa Perry
stated from her home in Indianapolis, Indiana.
"Baltimore really surprised me because I predicted
they'd win by at least 14 points. I also felt confident
that Indianapolis could beat the Jags by more than 9
points."
Perry has also felt strongly about the Cincinnati
Bengals.
"I'm a huge fan of Carson Palmer," Perry said of the
Bengals quarterback.
While Lisa did have Indianapolis winning, the team
failed to cover a pretty exaggerated 9 point spread.
Likewise, another Perry favorite, the Atlanta Falcons,
came up short.
"Lisa (Perry) stated early on it would be the Michael
Vick Show up there in Seattle," Costigan commented. "And
it was, but not until the second half and by then the
Seahawks were already way up by too many points."
Already, Ms. Perry is among the most successful female
sports handicappers of all time and the most successful
former cheerleader sports handicapper of all time.
Heading into the late afternoon she held an amazing 78%
winning record.
"For those of you wishing to make some easy money, I
cannot think of a better way than to follow Lisa Perry's
NFL picks at
www.gambling911.com each week," said Costigan.
You can't please everyone however and needless-to-say
there were a few people who are not quite enamored with
Ms. Perry.
"I had the Colts," commented Orville S., a sports bettor
who resides just outside of Indianapolis. "I lost $50.
It is the last time I will ever listen to some bimbo
giving out sports picks."
But this so-called "bimbo" sports a 12-5 record to date
this NFL season and Orville's opinion of her would most
definitely be in the minority.
"You cannot discount Lisa's knowledge of the game she
loves and her record, which is among the best out there
of any sports handicapper. Her record speaks for
itself," Costigan insisted.
Ms. Perry still has two more games to win. The
sentimental favorite, New Orleans, should cover and
probably even win according to Lisa Perry while Dallas
should also walk away with a victory.
"There are high school QB's better than Redskins," says
Perry, though she suggests getting this one at -6 or
less.
