Lingerie Bowl Cancelled After Three Year Run
Gambling911.com's own Anna Lexington (most famous for her interview with Kobe Bryant last year) won't be participating in the Lingerie Bowl any time soon. The half time special featuring scantily clad babes playing hardcore real football has been cancelled after only a three year run.
Last year, the pay per view event was sponsored and nearly taken over by Bodog.com That company has now shifted its attention to mixed martial arts and is now a recognized name among UFC aficionados.
Disagreements between Bodog.com and the organizers behind the Lingerie Bowl echoed that of the 2005 sponsors, PartyPoker.com. Bodog severed ties with the Lingerie Bowl immediately following its airing during the 2006 Super Bowl. Many onhand at last year's Lingerie Bowl considered it a very shoddy production full of snafus.
Supposedly the Lingerie Bowl will attempt to gain a new sponsor next year and show up once again on pay per view, though its chances are in doubt.

Ms. Lexington appears with Bodog.com Founder Calvin Ayre
