Latin
American Poker Tour
(2008)
Thank
you to our dear
friends at
Wicked Chops Poker
for reminding us of
that very special
day in May where we
worship that one
special woman who
serves as a reminder
as to why we are
here enjoying this
precious little
thing called "Life".
Sorry
Mom....we're talking
about the Latin
American Poker Tour
that begins May 5
and
features....well....not
one, but bazillions
of hot Latina women.
Oh yeah, and poker.
But who cares about
that!
The $2,500 buy-in
No-Limit Hold'em
poker tournament is
being held May 3-5
at the
Intercontinental
Hotel in Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil, and
on hand are an
expected 300 runners
including a host of
South of the Border
and US American
poker pros including
Brazilian Andre
Akkari, 2004 WSOP
champ Greg Raymer,
2003 WSOP Champ
Chris Moneymaker,
Victor Ramdin,
Isabelle Mercier, a
woman, Vanessa
Rousso, a woman who
went to Duke where
she studied at Duke,
Chad Brown, Gavin
Griffin and the
insufferably
annoying Humberto
Brenes.
And
be careful of those
dastardly little
mosquitoes.
For those of you
unaware of why
Gambling911.com has
decided to bypass
Brazil this year,
there has been an
outbreak of dengue
fever, so bad the
military has had to
be called in.
Gambling911.com
advises wearing that
all pros wear
mosquito nets while
playing at all times
to avoid contracting
this vicious plague.
