PITCHING MATCHUP: Angels RH Matt Harvey (2018: 7-9, 4.94 ERA) vs. Athletics RH Marco Estrada (0-0, 5.40)

Harvey, who signed a one-year, $11 million contract in December, will be making his debut with the Angels after splitting last season between the New York Mets and Cincinnati. The 29-year-old native of Connecticut recorded a career-high 13 victories with New York in 2015 but has gone 16-26 with a 5.39 ERA over the last three years. Harvey, who never has faced Oakland, yielded seven runs and 10 hits over 8 2/3 innings in three starts this spring.

Estrada was less than impressive in his season - and team - debut but escaped with a no-decision after surrendering three runs and five hits in five innings against Seattle in Japan on March 21. The 35-year-old Mexican, who spent the last four years with Toronto, is just 1-3 with a 5.90 ERA in five career starts versus the Angels. Albert Pujols is 6-for-11 lifetime against Estrada while Trout has recorded three hits - two homers - in 10 at-bats versus the veteran.

Six of the last eight games between these two teams have indeed gone OVER 8.5.
