Nurmagomedov was due to fight Ferguson in Brooklyn next month, but that won't be happening based on how hard hit the New York City area as we are about to exit the month of March.

UFC President Dana White said "I need to knock them [any postponed fights] out, I need to squeeze them in somewhere, and yes, we will resume our regular schedule."

'They might be with no crowd, they might be somewhere else. I don’t know how this is going to play out over the next several months, but these fights will happen, and I will have them.'

The fight is likely to feature zero spectators while fans and bettors alike may need to order this one from the confort of their homes.  It is unclear whether bars will yet be open to show UFC 249.

Every MMA aficionado is desperate to see it and there’s no doubt at all that White would be distraught if it is cancelled for a fifth time, the Daily Mail suggests.

So where might Khabib-Ferguson take place?

Joe Rogan has an idea.
