Brooks's Kentucky Wildcats here at home in a shocker.
Impressed with QB Brohn of Louisville, but little
else from them. I think they are way overrated.
After allowing Middle Tennessee St. to run up over
555 yards on them and allow a staggering 9.1 yards
per carry at home, is unforgivable and a sign of
trouble on the horizon. Big step up in class here
for the Cards against big brother in-state rival
Kentucky who has a stud QB of their own, and a
balanced attack as well. The Wildcats QB Woodson has
impressive numbers as well, 68% completion rate, 5
TD's, no picks, and Kentucky is 2-0! Notably in 206
pass attempts, he has not has an interception and
can run it as well. He may be the best QB in the SEC
this year, time will tell. This Wildcat team will
trade punches on offense in this and has a better
defense, but then again, who doesn't when it comes
to the Cards deplorable performances so far this
year. You cannot rack up 700 yards of offense in
this one like Middle Tennessee State and win it.
The Wildcats also have racked up over 500+ yards of
rushing on the ground in their first 2 games, and
are playing with 4-time revenge and some serious
beat downs by their hated rival. Kentucky railed a
Kent State team that went into Ames Iowa and Beat
Iowa State, which proves they were no pasty in my
mind, and they racked up 56 points on them! Not sold
on Louisville in any way, and playing a good and
underrated Kentucky team on the road here laying a
number with the way their defense has played, is a
take on the points. This one is a shootout. I am
calling for an outright win by Kentucky.
