Kentucky Derby Betting Line (Early Saturday AM)

The Kentucky Derby betting line analysis for the early morning hours of Saturday showed some movement among horses.

Let's look at the best line available for each horse and any movement we might have noticed.

Adriano - Best odds were found at BetUS.com.  We should point out that Sportsbook.com offered this horse at 35 to 1 odds on Friday and have now brought the odds down to 20 to 1.  There appears to have been significant enough action on Adriano.

Anak Nakal 50 - 1 at Sportsbook.com.   Bodog Life had this one at 66 to 1 odds but was not listing 2008 Kentucky Derby lines as of press time 3:00 am EST Saturday morning.

Sportsbook.com also offered Big Brown at 2 to 1 odds.  This favorite to win pays $200 for every $100 bet or $2 for every $1 bet.

Big Truck now pays 40 to 1 odds at both BetUS.com and Sportsbook.com.  Sportsbook.com previously had this one at 60 to 1 odds.

Both had Big Blackjack paying the best of any other online race book - 25 to 1 odds.

Colonel John promises a 4 to 1 payout at Sportsbook.com.  Bodog had been offering the peak of 5 to 1.

Cool Coal Man pays 25 to 1 odds at both Sportsbook.com and BetUS.com. 

Court Vision - This popular horse has had some discussion surrounding it.  BetUS.com was offering for 20 to 1 odds.  BetUS.com has maintained those odds since Friday and they continue to be the best paying of all the online race books.

Sportsbook.com pays Cowboy Cal 30 to 1 odds.  Bodog previously had them listed with 50 to 1 odds.

Denis of Cork was being offered at 25 to 1 odds at Sportsbook.

Eight Belles was listed with 18 to 1 odds at Sportsbook.

Gayego 15 - 1 odds at both BetUS.com and Sportsbook.com.

Monba 18 - 1 at Sportsbook.com.  betED.com had been offering this horse at 21 to 1 odds and since then have slashed him to 15 to 1.

Pyro pays just slightly better odds at BetUS.com - +550 or $100 bet would pay $550.  betED.com and Sportsbook.com had this horse paying around $500 for every $100 bet so there was a slight edge for the gambler at BetUS.com.

Recapture the Glory pays 30 to 1 odds at Sportsbook.com.

Smooth Air pays 30 to 1 odds at Sportsbook.  No change here since Friday.

Tale of Ekati pays 20 to 1 odds.  betED.com previously had this one paying 28 to 1 odds and they have since slashed this horse's odds down to 16 to 1.

Visionaire is another popular horse that pays 20 to 1 odds at both Sportsbook.com and BetUS.com.  These odds have stayed about the same for the two books.

Z Fortune pays 18 to 1 odds at Sportsbook, reduced slightly from 20 to 1 odds but this horse is moving into single digit odds.  betED.com had him at 10 to 1 odds.

Z Humor meanwhile is the laughing stock of oddsmakers with Sportsbook.com listing him at 50 to 1 odds.  Bodog previously had him at 66 to 1 odds.
