John McCain Daughter Seeing Ron Paul Supporter

If you thought John McCain's daughter, Meghan McCain, was bi....you would be sort of right we suppose....as in bipartisan.  No she hasn't technically crossed over party lines.  Some might argue otherwise, however.

The beautiful blonde blogging daughter of the Arizona Senator is reportedly dating a Ron Paul supporter.  Both McCain and Paul are running for the Republican nomination in this year's US Presidential election, though Ron Paul is considered more of a Libertarian.  Not surprisingly, the date got mighty ugly.

"The date became all about him trying to convince her about Paul," a friend told Radar. "Finally she said, 'You know my dad's running for president. You're not going to change my mind!'"

It is not known what transpired afterwards.

What we do know is that John McCain and Mitt Romney were running neck and neck in Michigan.  Oddsmakers had McCain around a half point favorite coming into this Primary while polls showed the maverick Senator with a one point lead.  Prediction markets tend to be fairly accurate.   (odds courtesy of BetUS.com)

Meghan writes on her blog following Dad's big win in New Hampshire:

Since Dad's big win in New Hampshire, things have really been heating up. The girls, staff, and I often joked early on that the campaign felt like a rock band that was on tour, hoping to have their recent album go platinum. At times we have felt like characters in one of my favorite movies, "Almost Famous".

But never has our "big moment" felt more real then the day after the New Hampshire win when we boarded this giant plane with about 50 more press traveling with us then usual. Even so, all of us are extremely aware that although these changes are new and exciting, they can be gone just as quickly as they came. While we're all enjoying the ride, we're a little nostalgic for the time when it was just a motley crew traveling with the campaign.
