Jenny Woo's Blog

Finally, it's here!  The Jenny Woo Blog.  It seems that Jenny needs a place to vent and bitch and vent and bitch.  Her focus on the world of internet gambling, entertainment, sexy celebrities and noncelebrities and whatever else is not enough to sustain her menstrual cycle.  As a result, we've allocated this space to Ms. Jenny Woo where she speaks her mind and introduces us to some friends.

Why Jenny loves BetUS
Hi Boys, I just wanted to drop a quick note about one of my favorite sportsbooks BetUS.com  Not only is their Marketing Director, Mike Foreman, an absolute hunk, so is their new COO Kelvin King.  This book has all kinds of novelty betting props that make Jenny all hot and bothered and never satisfied plus they grade bets so quickly.  I love that they are based on an Indian Reservation, not some third world country.  Jenny loves all the free bonus cash too.  So make Jenny happy and Join Today Here

Freaking out about the CAP Round Table

Okay here is a little secret many of you might not know.  Sure I'm frisky, fun, sexy and the life of the party.  That much is fact and pretty much already known.  But speaking in front of a crowd.... Jenny is scared S***less.

I am scheduled to speak on a panel as one of the expert's at this year's CAP Conference and I am both excited and nervous at the same time.  A lot of the problem has to do with my ADT as I can't sit still for any long periods of time.  Shannon from CAP is such a sweetie and will be providing me with Cosmos to help calm my nerves.  Oh and let me tell you, my editor is no help as he'll be up there with me but in typical fashion has not even gone over what I'll be discussing.

Finally at the last minute I receive the topic discussions, of course in my inebriated state of mind.

Here we go.

Can portals which target casino players effectively convert sports bettors?  Is a targeted website essential?

Okay there is going to be a lot of thinking outside the box here.  First off, we don't target casino players, Gambling911.com targets the entertainment market and we do this through various marketing campaigns that only my editor would be able to elaborate on further since this is not my area of expertise.

What I can say though is that we go after niche markets that put us in a category all our own.

For example, you might have read my American Idol articles where I bet on cutie pie Ace Young to win it all a few weeks back only to have him get booted.  Well these American Idol betting articles have generated so much traffic my dear boss has had to pay substantial amounts of money to increase our server capacity I am told.

American Idol, What will Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie name their baby, How many hurricanes will hit the United States mainland this year, When will Britney and Kevin divorce.  These are the types of gambling related subjects that Jenny finds most interesting.

And this leads to the other question I will be able to address:

Is sports betting seasonal? If so which events/seasons are most popular with casual gamblers?

For us, the answer is a resounding NO because Gambling911.com offers so many different entertainment betting options that help to fill the void left after football and college basketball.

Our traffic has increased over 6 times since the Super Bowl.  Much of this has to do with a focus on entertainment betting options, especially American Idol.

In terms of "Thinking outside the box" most of the sports betting portals feel that the NBA Playoffs and baseball are about all that's going on right about now and neither I'm told are very popular with the sports bettors.

This week, Gambling911.com has delivered documented signups and depositing players by sending to sportsbooks that have offered odds on box office opening weekend gross earnings for the Da Vinci Code, American Idol, hurricane betting odds (which my editor will have more to say on this topic), an Australian boxing match I have no clue about, and my editor couldn't even come on the cruise last night with us because he had to watch the Sopranos since one of our sponsors was offering odds on which character would be whacked first.  WTF???

But you get my point, Thinking outside the box.  Gambling911.com won't settle for "This is the slow season".  WE CREATE BETTING OPTIONS.  WE WANT YOU ALL TO BE GAMBLING DEGENERATES YEAR ROUND, NOT JUST FOUR MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR.  Creativity is our forte.
