A Word About the Super Bowl

BetOnline was offering hundreds of prop bets on the 2024 Super Bowl, including novelties not available at sites like DraftKings and FanDuel.

About BetOnline

"BetOnline’s management has had a significant presence in the online gaming and poker community since 1991," the popular website notes.

Indeed, Gambling911.com was there the first week they set up shop offshore (then in Costa Rica) back in 1999.  My what a far way they've come.

"During this time we have been incredibly dedicated to one thing and one thing only: delivering the most exciting and dynamic experiences possible in online gaming. Our staff is committed to providing the best possible Account Management service in every aspect, from general questions, promotional notifications and lightning-fast response times.

"Our Sportsbook offers the best odds in all major sports and leagues including the NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAA basketball and football, golf, soccer, boxing and much more. Wondering how your team did in its last game? BetOnline has you covered with our own Stats Center, complete with wagering trends.

"For those who may not follow sports as in depth as we do, BetOnline has been designed to offer opportunities to wager in many other realms. Odds in every aspect of politics and entertainment are constantly being added to our futures and propositional bet listings. Our Racebook is the best in the world, with up-to-post-time wagering and the most major/minor track listings offered in the industry.

"If sports, horses or politics are not in your list of favorite things to wager on, don’t hesitate to try BetOnline’s brand new, state-of-the-art live virtual Casino, featuring a full selection of table and card games like Hold ‘Em, Keno and Blackjack. This casino is the first of its kind with incredible new graphics, Blackjack tournaments and cash back offerings for casino losses.

"Whether your passion is sports, politics, entertainment, horse racing or casino action, look no further than BetOnline for the most exciting and enjoyable experience on the web. With the world’s finest customer service, lightning-fast payouts and a constant stream of promotions for you to take advantage of, it only makes sense to bet at BetOnline."

The site maintains an international site to take bets worldwide.  The only states they do not accept bets from are New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Nevada.   Minnesota residents are welcome.

Timberwolves Have Been Hot in 2023-24

The T'Wolves were promising a payout of $2200 for every $100 bet to win the 2024 NBA Championship.

Here is what ESPN was saying in early February:

"Although the Timberwolves are off to their best 50-game start in franchise history, they are tied with the Thunder for first place in the Western Conference in what has become a four-team race for the top slot. The Wolves were dominant in their wins last week against Houston and Dallas, but they gave up an eight-point fourth-quarter lead in a two-point loss to the Magic. As Minnesota looks to keep pace in the West, it'll continue to lean on its championship-level defense, which leads the league with a 108.2 defensive rating, but more importantly, it must find ways to improve its 19th-ranked offense -- and soon."

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
