HillaryClinton.com Shows Clinton's Humorous SideWe always knew Bill Clinton had a great sense of humor, but Hillary? She seems so serious all the time. Hillary Clinton has been able to connect with her audience and the video that appears on HillaryClinton.com is not just creative but funny as well.....best video since...well, that Hillary Clinton "Big Brother" video that was making the rounds on YouTube a few months ago.
It is a spoof of the Sopranos final "diner scene" complete with Journey's "Don't Stop Believing", which we suspect may be re-released as a single any day now. The spot even features a cameo appearance from The Sopranos Johnny Sac (played by Vincent Curatola) and it's Chelsea trying to parallel park outside.
The video actually leads in to the winner of the Hillary Clinton campaign song, which can also be found on the HillaryClinton.com website. And the winner is....Celine Dion's "You and I." Few people really care about the song after viewing that video however.
"It's fun, it's lighthearted, it shows another side of her," Peter Daou, Clinton's online director, said of the video. It was produced by Mandy Grunwald, Clinton's longtime media consultant, with the help of advertising wizards Jimmy Siegel and Dan Levinson, whose previous clientele includes corporate giants Pepsi and Visa.
Yesterday's video was the third in a series that aims to prove that Hillary has a sense of a humor, especially about herself.
Hillary Clinton remains the favorite to win the 2008 US Presidential race with 2 to 1 odds or a payout of $2 for every $1 bet if she were to win.
"I think the video appearing on HillaryClinton.com shows another side to Hillary," says Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of Gambling911.com. "But it does something else. It instills in us that one of modern day's most popular presidents and political figures, Bill Clinton, will be playing an active role in Hillary's own presidency. So a vote for Hillary is really a re-vote for Bill Clinton."
