Hillary Clinton Running as an Independent Forces Odds of the Board

Sportsbook.com was prompted to pull its US Presidential odds temporarily Thursday morning fearing that the math could actually add up for Hillary Clinton on news reports that some are urging her to run as an "Independent".

Clinton has refused to drop out of the race even though political mathematicians claim it is "impossible for her to get the nomination".  With more Democratic colleagues jumping on the Barack Obama bandwagon and turning their backs on Clinton, who is to say she won't turn her back on them?

A large chunk of the American public is calling for an end to the two party system.

Clinton had dipped to as low as 6 to 1 odds at Sportsbook.com prior to the pull.

She is listed at 9 to 1 odds at other online gambling sites across the globe.

A new Rasmussen Reports poll out today reveals 29 percent of Democrats say she should run an independent campaign for the White House, with 61 percent opposing the idea.

Clinton supporters were evenly split about the notion..
