Hillary Clinton Odds Cut to 4 to 1

Following an impressive double digit win in the Tuesday Pennsylvania Primary, oddsmakers abroad have slashed Hillary Clinton's odds of becoming the next US President from 5/1 to 4/1.

Clinton got 55 percent of the vote to Obama's 45 percent in yesterday's Pennsylvania primary, with 99 percent of precincts reporting.

With the race now shifting to Indiana and North Carolina, Clinton still needs a major event to loosen Obama's grip on the nomination because of his lead in the nationwide popular vote and in delegates to the national convention, according to Bloomberg News.

``She's in a difficult place,'' said Jenny Backus, a Democratic strategist who isn't affiliated with either candidate. Clinton needs a ``miracle'' or ``some magical negative story dropping on Obama from out of the sky.''

Gamblers are looking to cash in on a Hillary Clinton victory as well with odds having gone as long as 6 to 1 at some online gambling websites.

"She's proven time and time again she can bounce back," points out Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of Gambling911.com.

One online gambling website has been offering betting odds on when and if Hillary Clinton will ultimately drop out of the race.

BetCRIS.com had been offering the odds, with the best payout opportunity prior to Tuesday's Primary.

The favorite bet was Between June 4th and August 30th
