Gambling Site Still Serving up Hell's Kitchen Bets

While creating delicious dishes on Hell’s Kitchen, the show’s chefs could also be cooking up profits for prop bettors.  But be forewarned, any signs of "insider betting" will be reported to Producers, betED warns.

It was revealed only yesterday that another online gambling company had removed betting odds on Hell's Kitchen after discovering a series of bets coming in from alleged "employees of the show".

"There won't be any of that tolerated in our kitchen," a betED.com spokesperson stated.  "We won't let such employees spoil it for real customers."

While creating delicious dishes on Hell’s Kitchen, the show’s chefs could also be cooking up profits for prop bettors.

betED Props is offering odds on who will win the popular cooking-based reality show, which kicked off its third season Monday on Fox.

The top 5 favorites to win Hell’s Kitchen at BetEd are: Rock (+150); Melissa (+450); Josh (+500); Bonnie (+675); and Jen (+675).

Or, you can wager on the winner’s gender: Male (-135) or Female (-115).

On Monday, the show saw its first elimination of the new season as Tiffany, 27, a kitchen manager from Scottsdale, AZ, was sent packing.

The show features 12 chefs or cooks with varying degrees of professional culinary experience competing to win a head chef position at a restaurant in the Green Valley Resort and Spa near Las Vegas. The winner gets $250,000 in annual salary plus a percentage of the profits of the restaurant. In past seasons, contestants were awarded their own million-dollar restaurant.

Hell's Kitchen is hosted – some might say dominated – by Gordon Ramsay, 41, a British celebrity chef who is one of only three chefs in the UK whose restaurant is rated at three Michelin stars.

The show is based on the original Hell’s Kitchen, broadcast in the UK and also featuring Ramsay.

The show’s format is the same as the UK version, with a red team and a blue team competing in various cooking challenges. Diners are recruited to "try a new restaurant."

The Contestants, with their current occupations are: Aaron, 48, a retirement home chef from Palos Verdes, CA; Brad, 25, a sous chef from Scottsdale, AZ; Eddie, 28, a grill cook from Atlanta, GA; Josh, 26, a junior sous chef from Miami Beach, FL; Rock, 30, an executive chef from Spotsylvania, VA; Vinnie, 29, a night club chef from Milltown, NJ; Bonnie, 26, a nanny/personal chef from Los Angeles, CA; Jen, 26, a pastry chef from Hazleton, PA; Joanna, 22, a chef's assistant from Detroit, MI; Julia, 28, a short-order cook from Atlanta, GA; and Melissa, 29, a line cook from New York, NY.
