First Fidelity Sportsbook gets high marks, Internet1x2 frought with complaints

Christopher Costigan, www.sports911.com

While many of us get accustomed to reading negative items as they related to online sportsbooks, 911 readers regularly provide us with feedback that we love to hear. This time a long time Sports911 reader wrote in to express his positive thoughts regarding long established Costa Rica based First Fidelity Sportsbook.

We have not come across many complaints lodged against this book, especially when it relates to payouts, though we've never been huge fans of their aggressive cold calling and questionable advertising tactics (i.e. the 75 percent bonuses).

"I am yet to receive one cold call from First Fidelity," the Sports911 reader, who we will call Tony, informed us.

Tony has played at First Fidelity for almost the entire baseball season and won quite a bit of money during the month of June.

"I was hearing all this negative stuff about them (First Fidelity) cold calling but I was never worried about their cash situation as much as other books," Tony revealed. "I loved their 10 cent lines and received 2 payouts like clockwork. The customer service was very helpful and friendly. I only bet online, never by phone, so the CS I am referring to is in the banking department."

Tony normally would play at Pinnacle Sports and Olympic exclusively during football but he is maintaining a balance in First Fidelity as well.

"I gotta tell you I'm pretty impressed with how they've treated me thus far and I've already made the decision to use them as a third out come football."

Kudos to First Fidelity Sportsbook.

.....

And another k udos goes out to Sports Interaction. Over the past year Sports911 has been harder on this book than just about any other (with the possible exception of Royal Sports). We took them on with the promise that customer service issues would be dealt with more professionally through the implementation of two new managers. There was never a question of this company's solvency.

To be honest, I was a little nervous taking them on. Aside from past customer service complaints and a slightly overzealous security department, Sports Interaction has been a favorite of players, even their most hardcore critics. Excellent value in lines, great software and a wide assortment of betting options on nearly every sports under the planet. SIA stands out.

Since SIA has come on board, we here at Sports911 have received a whopping......ONE complaint..... a complaint that was resolved within 24 hours I might add.

Jeff from WebStormMedia has acted as a terrific liaison between Sports911 and Sports Interaction over these past few months.....and not in the compacity of a mediator, thankfully. He's kept us abreast of all the latest SIA offerings and answered any questions we might have.

.....

Will Internet1X2.com ever get its act together? Despite numerous pleas by us and promises that a player would be paid the monies he requested, this poor guy is still waiting.

After winning, he had planned on using the money won towards a nice vacation. Unfortunately the vacation is this week and instead of having a little extra spending money to buy a nice bottle of champagne, this customer is preoccupied thinking about when the check will eventually arrive....if it will ever arrive. There is no dispute whatsoever as to what is owed and why he is not getting paid. It is matters like these that are frustrating to say the least.

Well, the money finally disappeared from his account, which last time the playerrequested a payout indicated the check was on route. Granted, he ultimately received that payout, apparently without much hassle.

He has called the Internet1X2 accounting department and they are completely clueless.

Here is a novel idea....pay players on time and pay this player an extra bonus for the time he has had to wait. There is no excuse for this nonsense! The folks at Internet1x2 should be embarassed at this point in time.

We are talking about a FedEx here and everytime the guy calls, nobody can provide him with a tracking number. I use UPS all the time and probably spend more time in the neighborhood UPS Store than anyone else, enough so that I know once everything is entered into the computer (usually a two minute process), I am provided with a tracking number once my credit card is swiped. Once back in the office, I'll provide my clients with a tracking number either via email or phone. Real simple. I just can't help but shake my head when I hear nonsense about a sportsbook unable to provide its clients with a tracking number, at least in a few hours time.

We have an additional player who continues to be ignored as well.

Sports911 will keep everyone posted as to how these two cases turn out.
