One of the pleasant surprises of Tuesday night on American Idol was rocker David Cook who performed a hard rockin' version of Lionel Richie's sobber "Hello". While all the American Idol hoopla to date has revolved around another David (well actually two other David's) - young David Archuleta, Cook makes us think back on Chris Daughtry. As the judges rightfully pointed out Tuesday night, that version of "Hello" could be a big hit today. An even bigger hit is the odds that Big Juicy placed on David Cook to win American Idol. A $1 bet heading into the night's performance show would pay $50 if he pulls off the victory. It's not entirely out of the question. Cook is likely to build an entirely different following than that of David Archuleta. Cook comes to us courtesy of Blue Springs, Missouri and auditioned in Omaha, Nebraska.
